The Venomancer Pet Evolution feature was introduced in the Rising Call content update. This feature allows some pets to evolve and become stronger.
Introduction[]

New Pet Bag icon.
Once certain pets reach level 100, they will have the option to evolve and change their appearance by using the items called Feral Soul Stars. In addition to this, pets' stats will be affected by the venomancer's gear after they have evolved. The stats are affected by the gear the venomancer wears when they summon the pets.
The stats affected by the venomancer's gear are following:
- HP
- Attack
- Defense
- Attack level
- Defense Level
- Spirit
- Magic Penetration
- Physical Penetration - based on the venomancer's Magic Penetration
Each pet will have a unique Inherit Stat for the HP, attack and defense values. To change these values, players will have to reshape the pet using Feral Soul Stars. Pets can also gain experience by being fed Feral Soul Stars. The experience from the Feral Soul Stars scales with the pet's level.
Lycaeum of Cultivation[]
Lycaeum of Cultivation is the venomancer-exclusive dungeon from which players can farm Feral Soul Stars to use in the pet evolution feature.
Pet Evolution and Training Mode[]

Post-evolution window.

Mood Training window.
In order to start Training Mode, players will have to open the Pet Bag by pressing the P key in-game, and click the new icon that will appear next to the pet. Only pets level 100 and above can enter the Training Mode. The Training Mode will give players the options of evolving and training their pet using Feral Soul Stars acquired via the Lycaeum of Cultivation.
If the pet is level 100 players can use the Stars to evolve it. Additionally, players can choose to use a combination of Feral Soul Stars and Chienkun Stones if players don't have enough Stars. Once players evolve their pet they can no longer trade it. It can be reverted back into an egg, but it becomes bound to the character.
In order to feed a pet experience it has to be summoned. In order to evolve, change mood and reshape is has to be stowed. All pets require 140 Feral Soul Stars to evolve. Other options are 75 Feral Soul Stars and 20 Chienkun Stones or 20 Feral Soul Stars and 90 Chienkun stones.
Once the pet is evolved, players can change the mood of the pet and reshape the Inherit Stats. Pets that have evolved will acquire an exclusive skill. This skill is unique for each pet and cannot be changed.
Mood Training[]

Inherit Stat reshaping.
The mood grants the evolved pet two new skills. There are over 70 different moods. Each individual pet has access to 30 moods out of the 70. The type of moods available vary from pet to pet. Players will have to enter the mood Training in order to roll for a new mood. The pets will randomly receive a new mood and players can choose whether they want to keep the old mood or accept new mood. Regardless of the choice the Feral Soul Stars will be consumed. mood skills cannot be leveled. Players can only keep re-rolling the mood and hope they get a roll with higher level skills.
Inherit Stat Training[]
In order to change the Inherit Stat values of the pet, players will have to reshape. Much like with mood Training, you can choose whether you want to keep your new roll or not. Regardless of the choice the Feral Soul Stars will be consumed. The Feral Soul Star requirement for mood training and reshaping is different for each pet but the difference is usually no bigger than +/- 5 Stars.
List of Evolved Pets[]
There are a total of 19 types of evolved pets. All Legendary Pets and most rare pets can be evolved.

Pet Skins[]

Equipping or purchasing pet skins.
Players can purchase pet skins to change their pet's appearance. Pet skins do not affect the pet's skills or stats, but a new skin will offer a new appearance as well as new skill animations.
In order to purchase a pet skin, the player has to open the Training Mode window. There they can use the arrows on the sides to navigate through the available pet skins. The purchase button will allow them to buy the selected pet skin with Gold. If the player already has that particular pet skin, the button will instead give them the option to equip the pet skin. Pet skins can be changed at any time.
Currently, the only available pet skins are for the Avatar of War, the Celestial Giant, the Heliacal Phoenix and the Empyrean Harpy.
