Stats are traits that affect a character's ability in combat. There are several different types of stats to suit both PvE and PvP combat. Most stats can be viewed by pressing the C key or clicking the character icon at the bottom-right of the screen to open the Character Info window. Most of these stats will be listed at the bottom half of the window. All stats can be viewed in the Character Simulator window, including those not seen in the Character Info window, by clicking the function icon at the bottom-right of the screen.
For further reading on how most stats work in combat, see Damage.
Attributes[]
Players can increase their attributes using Stat Points. Every level gained earns 5 Stat Points which can be allocated into these attributes, and extra Stat Points can be gained from reawakening. These attributes are permanent but can be reset either through the process of reawakening or by using a Reset Note, purchased from the Boutique.
The four attributes that players can allocate their points into are as follows:

Vitality | Increases your HP and MP recovery rate, Physical, and Magic Defense. Your recovery rate is reduced to 25% in combat, but doubles while in meditation. |

Magic | Increases your MP, MP regen rate, and magic attack. Recovery rate reduced to 25% in combat, but doubles while in meditation. |
Dexterity | Increases your ranged and Dagger physical attack, accuracy, evasion, physical and magical critical hit rates. |

In addition, different classes use different attributes to gain attack power for the majority of their skills.

- Magic: cleric, mystic, psychic, venomancer, stormbringer
- Dexterity: archer, assassin, duskblade, technician
