Seasonal Quest NPCs

The NPCs for the Seasonal Quests. Their appearance remains the same for each season.

Seasonal Quests are a series of daily quests, available between the levels of 80 and 99. There are a total of four sets of quests along with NPCs, named after each season - Summer, Winter, Fall, and Spring. These quests and NPCs typically rotate depending on the season in the Northern Hemisphere in the real world, meaning that only one set of quests will be available at a time. When the quests and NPCs rotate over, the player will not be able to complete any quests from the previous season.

The Harbingers can be found in most major cities, surrounded by other NPCs:

Story[]

The seasons of Perfect World are presided over by 24 celestial beings called "oracles". Each season has its own patron oracles who shape Perfect World to reflect the given season. Recently, the presence of the oracles has felt weak and the land has reflected that... the Wraiths must be behind this!

Overview[]

The daily quest requires the player to perform specific tasks for one of the six oracles of that season. The oracle they must perform quests for is random. The quests typically involve digging items or killing level 150 monsters usually located around the western and northern outskirts of Archosaur, and include multiple steps to complete. The monsters to be killed have a high amount of defense due to their level, but do not deal as much damage as other monsters around the player's level. Players can kill these monsters in a squad and receive kill credit for their quest.

Every quest results in a similar ending regardless of which oracle the player is doing quests for. For all seasons except summer, the player will be required to kill a monster that wanders around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes. For summer, the player will be required to kill a certain monster depending on the oracle they are doing quests for.

For all seasons, once the monster has been killed the player must return to the Harbinger and correctly answer which oracle they were performing quests for. If the player gets the answer incorrect, they can repeat this part of the quest to guess again. The player can easily find out which oracle they performed quests for by checking their quest log, as their name will be displayed as one of the parent quest names.

Once the player has successfully completed the quest, they will receive EXP and Spirit, depending on their level.

A seasonal quest can only be obtained once per day, but it can be stacked, meaning that the player can pick up the quest and complete it the next day and receive a new quest after completing it.

At times, due to a glitch, the Seasonal Quest in the player's quest log under the Find Quests tab will be for a season that is currently not active, and cannot be picked up.

Winter is Coming[]

Winter is Coming is the daily seasonal quest available during the season of winter. When it is available, the Winter Harbinger will be present. It is typically available between the months of December and March.

Ida the Mad[]

  1. Collect 3 Reversal Pearls from the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Winter Harbinger.
  2. Collect 3 Frigid Essences from the Frozen Water, located in Originia River near Tradewind Village (449, 740 ↑22). This will consume the Reversal Pearls.
  3. Kill 5 Ravenous Eartheaters, located near Secret Passage north of Archosaur (572, 723).
  4. Kill 5 Winter Venomgators, located in Originia River near Tradewind Village (455, 765 ↑20).
  5. Kill the Winter Beast Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (524, 788).
  6. Return to the Winter Harbinger and select the "Ida the Mad" option.

Mischievous Matilda[]

  1. Collect 3 Rainbow Fragments from the Rainbows, located near the Tomb of Heroes (556, 789).
  2. Kill 5 Confused Air Sprites, located near Secret Passage north of Archosaur (543, 736).
  3. Kill 5 Confused Earth Sprites, located in the same area as the Confused Air Sprites.
  4. Kill 5 Twisted Dragonflies, located by Tradewind Village (422, 750).
  5. Kill the Winter Beast Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (524, 788).
  6. Return to the Winter Harbinger and select the "Mischievous Matilda" option.

Hettie the Tender[]

  1. Kill 5 Plagued Owlbeasts, located by Tradewind Village (422, 750).
  2. Kill 5 Plagued Jackals, located in Broken Bow Bluff near Tradewind Village (467, 694).
  3. Collect 3 Blessed Plants, located on Flag Hill near Secret Passage, north of Archosaur (530, 728).
  4. Kill the Winter Beast Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (524, 788).
  5. Return to the Winter Harbinger and select the "Hettie the Tender" option.

Olga the Sluggish[]

  1. Collect 3 Alert Earthworms from Frozen Soil, located near Secret Passage north of Archosaur (528, 750).
  2. Collect 5 Shed Reindeer Antlers by killing Winter Reindeer, located close to Bengal Ridge and Originia River (478, 785). The player will receive 3 Bottles of Magical Substance.
  3. Collect 3 Empty Bottles from Glacial Water, located in Originia River between Tradewind Village and Etherblade City (426, 791). This will consume the Bottles of Magical Substance.
  4. Kill the Winter Beast Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (524, 788).
  5. Return to the Winter Harbinger and select the "Olga the Sluggish" option.

Edith the Avian[]

  1. Kill 5 Poison Willows, located close to Bengal Ridge and Originia River (478, 785).
  2. Collect 5 Bird Nests by killing Demented Hardwoods, located by Wellspring Village (456, 632).
  3. Collect 3 Sounds of Winter from the Sealed Birdsongs, located near the Mountain of the Tortoise God and the Tomb of Heroes (556, 794).
  4. Kill the Winter Beast Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (524, 788).
  5. Return to the Winter Harbinger and select the "Edith the Avian" option.

Agatha the Cruel[]

  1. Collect 3 Cloaks of Winter's Chill from the Grand Lunar Avatar, located beside the Winter Harbinger.
  2. Collect 3 Tattered Cloak Fragments from Hatching Eggs, located near Tradewind Village (439, 763). This will consume the Cloaks of Winter's Chill.
  3. Kill 5 Possessed Snakes, located in Broken Bow Bluff (467, 694).
  4. Kill 5 Winter Eartheaters, located close to Bengal Ridge and Originia River (448, 799) (467, 770).
  5. Kill the Winter Beast Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (524, 788).
  6. Return to the Winter Harbinger and select the "Agatha the Cruel" option.

Spring Awakening[]

Spring Awakening is the daily seasonal quest available during the season of spring. When it is available, the Spring Harbinger will be present. It is typically available between the months of March and June.

Yuan, the Warm[]

  1. Kill 5 Winter's Wraiths, located by Tradewind Village (417, 739).
  2. Collect 3 Little Beetles from Wet Stones, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (565, 721).
  3. Kill 5 Unbroken Ice, located in Originia River near Tradewind Village. (461, 745 ↑21). The player may need to target the Unbroken Ice by using the Tab ↹ key.
  4. Kill the Spring Defiler, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  5. Return to the Spring Harbinger and select the "Yuan, the Warm" option.

Kerana, the Matron[]

  1. Collect 3 Yellowtail Damselfish from the Yellowtail Damselfish School, located in the Originia River between Tradewind Village and Etherblade City (438, 788 ↑20).
  2. Collect 3 Wet Sands from the Altar, located in the Originia River between Tradewind Village and Etherblade City (434, 781 ↑22). This will consume the Yellowtail Damselfish.
  3. Kill 1 Falcon Cage, located near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 777). The player will receive 3 Leaded Vials.
  4. Collect 3 Vial of Dark Energy from Dark Energy, located near Orchid Temple (601, 736). This will consume the Leaded Vials.
  5. Kill the Spring Defiler, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  6. Return to the Spring Harbinger and select the "Kerana, the Matron" option.

Ching, the Blossomy[]

  1. Go to (539, 730), near Secret Passage, north of Archosaur.

Tak, the Incorrigible[]

  1. Kill 5 Possessed Owls, north of the Tomb of Heroes and Orchid Temple (571, 797).
  2. Collect 3 Lightning in a Bottle from Thunder Cauldrons, located on Bengal Ridge (503, 752).
  3. Go to (505, 706), on top of the mountain near Broken Bow Bluff, north-west of Archosaur.
  4. Talk to the Grand Lunar Avatar, located beside the Spring Harbinger.
  5. Kill the Spring Defiler, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  6. Return to the Spring Harbinger and select the "Tak, the Incorrigible" option.

Hilde, the Peaceful[]

  1. Go to (562, 736), near Secret Passage, north of Archosaur.
  2. Kill 5 Gluttonous Guinea Pigs, located by Tradewind Village (417, 739).
  3. Collect 3 Rainbow Shell Fragments from Rainbow Shells, located in the Originia River between Tradewind Village and Etherblade City (438, 788 ↑20).
  4. Kill the Spring Defiler, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  5. Return to the Spring Harbinger and select the "Hilde, the Peaceful" option.

Nel, the Reborn[]

  1. Collect 3 Lotus Flowers from Floating Lotuses, located around the Originia River near Tradewind Village (443, 768).
  2. Kill 5 Blazing Dodonixes, located near the Tomb of Heroes (549, 778). The player will receive 3 Auxin Potions.
  3. Collect 3 Empty Bottles from Mulberry Saplings, located near Orchid Temple (601, 736). This will consume the Auxin Potions.
  4. Kill the Spring Defiler, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  5. Return to the Spring Harbinger and select the "Nel, the Reborn" option.

Saving Summer[]

Saving Summer is the daily seasonal quest available during the season of summer. It is the only set of seasonal quests where the final monster to kill varies on which quest the player has.

When it is available, the Summer Harbinger will be present. It is typically available between the months of June and September.

Farrah the Adored[]

  1. Kill 5 Summer Invader Beetles, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (578, 717).
  2. Collect 3 Earthworms from Loose Soil, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (541, 725).
  3. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Summer Harbinger.
  4. Kill 1 Summer Invader Boar, located near Secret Passage, north of Archosaur (569, 718).
  5. Return to the Summer Harbinger and select the "Farrah the Adored" option.

Chaff the Ruthless[]

  1. Kill 5 Summer Invader Bullfrogs, located at the mines at Broken Bow Bluff (487, 673).
  2. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Summer Harbinger.
  3. Collect 3 Willow Twigs from Tender Willow Twigs, located at the mines at Broken Bow Bluff (480, 672).
  4. Kill 1 Summer Invader Insect, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (565, 718).
  5. Return to the Summer Harbinger and select the "Chaff the Ruthless" option.

Harmonious Saki[]

  1. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Summer Harbinger.
  2. Collect 3 Mini Mantises from Simple Traps, located at Bengal Ridge near Tradewind Village (474, 744).
  3. Kill 5 Summer Invader Butcherbirds, located at Bengal Ridge near Tradewind Village (475, 731).
  4. Kill 1 Summer Invader Mockingbird, located at Bengal Ridge near Tradewind Village (475, 742).
  5. Return to the Summer Harbinger and select the "Harmonious Saki" option.

Treacherous Royce[]

  1. Kill 5 Summer Invader Fawns, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (550, 734).
  2. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Summer Harbinger.
  3. Go to (497, 675), located at the mines at Broken Bow Bluff.
  4. Talk to the Grand Lunar Avatar, located beside the Summer Harbinger.
  5. Collect 3 Nightshades from Nightshade Bushes, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (550, 739).
  6. Return to the Summer Harbinger and select the "Treacherous Royce" option.

Fall's Fall is the daily seasonal quest available during the season of fall or autumn. When it is available, the Autumn Harbinger will be present. It is typically available between the months of September and December.

Agni the Still[]

  1. Go to (525, 778), near the Tomb of Heroes.
  2. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Autumn Harbinger.
  3. Collect 3 White Dew Essences, located by Secret Passage north of Archosaur (552, 745).
  4. Go to (532, 753), near Secret Passage and the Tomb of Heroes.
  5. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar again, located beside the Autumn Harbinger.
  6. Kill the Autumn Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  7. Return to the Autumn Harbinger and select the "Agni the Still" option.

Aino the Withered[]

Manar the Somber[]

Brigid the Cold[]

  1. Kill 5 Autumn Bunny Invaders, located near Tradewind Village (419, 752).
  2. Talk to the Grand Lunar Avatar, located beside the Autumn Harbinger.
  3. Collect 3 Weeds, located near Tradewind Village (416, 747).
  4. Talk to the Grand Solar Avatar, located beside the Autumn Harbinger.
  5. Kill 5 Autumn Spider Invaders, located in the Unicorn Forest near Tradewind Village and Swiftwind Tribe (408, 783).
  6. Talk to the Grand Lunar Avatar, located beside the Autumn Harbinger.
  7. Kill the Autumn Avatar, wandering around the Mountain of the Tortoise God, near the Tomb of Heroes (523, 789).
  8. Return to the Autumn Harbinger and select the "Brigid the Cold" option.

Seasonal Plates[]

Previously there were quests available for the player to receive plates of a certain season - the Plate of Winter, Plate of Fall, Plate of Summer, and Plate of Spring - however these quests have since been retired. They were available for players leveled between 20 and 40, and involved performing quests at the Harbinger as well as the Tree of Seasons. Occasionally players between level 20 and 40 may find a quest at the Tree of Seasons to use their seasonal plates in exchange for Silver Coins, however with no way to obtain the plates this quest cannot be completed.

Similar to the other seasonal quests, these quests also rotated depending on the season, along with the rewards for each quest. The seasonal plates could be exchanged for Wordcard Chests, containing a random card with a word on it. Collecting enough unique word cards would grant the player an EXP, Spirit, and Silver Coin reward.
