Reawakening I Quest Chain

The Reawakening I Quest Chain is a series of classic quests available after reawakening for the first time and reaching level 80. The quest chain is listed in the Classic section of the Perfect World Anecdote as Tale of Heroes, and will award players with 1 Insight Point for completion. It follows the story of Yeh Kuhan, a famous warrior who has also just reawakened. It awards a high amount of experience especially for players under level 100 as they will receive a 4x experience boost as a result of reawakening.

Upon completing the quest chain players will receive A Stone of Love·Recreation, an item that is required for reawakening a second time once you have reached level 100. Completing this quest chain and the Reawakening II Quest Chain will award players with the title New Horizons.

Tips

• If you began this quest chain prior to reaching level 80, you will need to level up to receive or complete the quests.
• It is recommended to do this quest chain while you are still below level 100. You will get 4x experience during your first reawakening, and 3.5x experience during your second reawakening.
• All quests are automatically acquired as you complete quests. If you do not properly receive a quest (e.g. there are no objectives), wait for a minute or try relogging.
• All bosses required for this quest chain are inside their dungeons; killing the ones outside of their dungeons will not count.
• While most bosses are easily soloable, some players may need help with killing bosses towards the end of the quest chain.
• You cannot trash any quests in this quest chain; the only way to get rid of these quests is to complete the entire quest chain.

First Reawakening·Deja Vu

Quest is received automatically once you reach level 80 after reawakening for the first time.

1. A popup will appear. Confirm it to continue.
2. Talk to General Summer in southwest Archosaur (521, 629).
3. Talk to the Mysterious Person outside of the Cave of the Vicious (277, 437).
4. Kill 4 Bramble Cactopods outside of Etherblade City.
   • The quest says to collect some Nectar to prepare for a future quest. You can collect 2 Nectar around this area.
5. Talk to Guard Seven at the west Archosaur gates (511, 654).
6. Collect 2 Nectar outside west Archosaur, northeast of Guard Seven, if you haven't already collected some.
7. Give the Nectar to Guard Seven at the west Archosaur gates (511, 654).
8. Go to the City of a Thousand Streams near Lei Wanchun (131, 860). Yeh Kuhan's Shadow will appear for a moment.
9. Talk to Lei Wanchun at the City of a Thousand Streams (131, 860).

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Reprieve.

1. Talk to the Skeleton southwest of the Silver Pool (435, 549).

First Reawakening·Yeh Kuhan

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Old Friend. The Strange Map from the last quest will be consumed automatically.

1. The player will receive a treasure map. The map can be viewed from the quest log by opening it with the Q key, clicking on the quest, and then clicking on the green "Show Treasure Map" text.
2. Search for the area marked on the treasure map. It is located around the Timberfield and Haunted Path area, but location and coordinates will be different for each player. Some places to try are north of Timberfield (497, 983) and the Haunted Path northeast of Timberfield (525, 979).
3. Once you have found the area a Suspicious Thing will appear on the ground. You do not need to dig it. Digging it will spawn Yeh Kuhan's Avatar which will attack you. Killing him or ignoring him does not affect your quest.
4. A popup will appear. Confirm it to complete the quest.

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Yeh Kuhan.

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Missing.

1. Kill the Poisontail Occultist in Cave of the Vicious. You will be able to complete this quest without a squad. When Poisontail Occultist is killed, the quest will complete automatically.

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Cultivation.

1. Kill 3 Skelevizen Sailors, 3 Lupine Berserkers, and 3 Snakevalley Hexwraiths at Widow's Coast outside Allies Camp.
2. Kill Qingzi inside the Hall of Deception, accessed through the Secret Passage. You will be able to complete this quest without a squad.
3. Talk to Guard Chi at Heaven's Tear (472, 567 ↑47).
4. Collect a Heartprint from the Heart Mirror under the water in the Great Lake (439, 601 ↑19). Yeh Kuhan will appear for a moment.
5. Give the Heartprint to Guard Chi at Heaven's Tear (472, 567 ↑47).

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Find a Way.

1. Talk to Fei Kungxing on a rock southwest of the Silver Pool (421, 552 ↑24).
2. Kill Gluttonix inside the Valley of Disaster, down the earth path. Players should be able to kill this boss without a squad.
3. Talk to Fei Kungxing on a rock southwest of the Silver Pool (421, 552 ↑24).
4. Talk to Chin Wuming on a rock south of the Silver Pool (440, 544 ↑25).
5. Dig the Spell Site next to Chin Wuming to get Spell Residue. A spell will appear below Chin Wuming.
6. Give the Spell Residue to Chin Wuming.
7. Talk to Miss Chiu outside of Sanctuary (644, 557).
8. Collect Condensate Water at the Freezing Spell Site, on top of the City of Abominations entrance south of the Silver Pool (437, 550 ↑25).
9. Give the Condensate Water to Miss Chiu outside of Sanctuary (644, 557).

1. Talk to Fei Kungxing on a rock southwest of the Silver Pool (421, 552 ↑24).
2. Talk to Chin Wuming on a rock south of the Silver Pool (440, 544 ↑25).
3. Talk to Lei Wanchun at the City of a Thousand Streams (131, 860).
4. Kill 4 Drifting Hex Lanterns for Drifting Hex Lampwicks, and 4 Dragonmaids for Dragon Temple Water. Both can be found in the water north of The Village of Naught.
5. Collect 4 Nether Atmosium Residue from the Bound Magical Power below Chin Wuming south of the Silver Pool (440, 544). You can dig the same one 4 times.
6. Collect 1 Abnormal Air Mass from the Chrono Rifts above Fei Kungxing southwest of the Silver Pool (421, 552). Fei Kungxing will appear.
   • The Chrono Rifts are purple orbs. Click around the bottom of the orb or where the "Chrono Rift" text is to dig.
7. Talk to Yeh Kuhan on top of the City of Abominations entrance south of the Silver Pool (437, 549 ↑25).

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Recover.

1. Talk to Miss Chiu outside of Sanctuary (644, 557).
2. Collect the Bamboowood Echo at the tower north of Sanctuary (647, 583).
3. Give the Bamboowood Echo to Miss Chiu outside of Sanctuary (644, 557).
4. Go to the beginning of the bridge located north of Sanctuary (650, 573). Younger versions of Yeh Kuhan and his friends will appear and run along the bridge.
5. Talk to Young Miss Chiu halfway along the bridge located north of Sanctuary (656, 578).
6. Go to the City of Abominations entrance south of the Silver Pool (439, 550). Young Miss Chiu will appear.
7. Talk to Yeh Kuhan on top of the City of Abominations entrance south of the Silver Pool (437, 549 ↑25).

1. Talk to Chih Hua east of the City of a Thousand Streams (156, 861).
2. Talk to Wen Hsih on the boat east of the City of a Thousand Streams (153, 861).
3. Talk to Miss Ming at East Barrier Village (181, 869).
4. Collect 1 Wet Soil from a River Lamp Placement Point at the end of the pier (151, 872 ↑22), east of the City of a Thousand Streams. A River Lamp will float down the river.
   • You can dig this from the pier itself, or fly above the water to dig it.

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Praying.

1. Collect a River Lamp on the surface of the water east of the City of a Thousand Streams (146, 860 ↑22).
2. Go to the top of the City of Abominations entrance south of the Silver Pool (436, 549 ↑25). Multiple NPCs will spawn and cheer for Yeh Kuhan.
3. Talk to Yeh Kuhan on top of the City of Abominations entrance south of the Silver Pool (437, 549 ↑25).
4. Kill the Blackshadow Wraith in Brimstone Pit (400, 588). It is a level 150 boss with 120k health. It is located between the Ethereal Abomination and Fats bosses.
   • The player may require help to reach and kill this boss. It will deal physical damage.

Round I·Wait for Reawakening

Quest is automatically acquired after completing First Reawakening·Real Hero.

1. Talk to the Master of Cycles at south Archosaur (547, 626) or north Archosaur (565, 675).

The Stone of Love·Recreation can be used to reawaken a second time once you have reached level 100.
