Moon Watcher Tower is an instanced dungeon where all squad members have balanced equipment (Battle of Survival g17) and each boss only allows 3 resurrections before those who die are unable to revive until either the boss is defeated or the squad is wiped. Additionally, time limits exist for each boss as an additional challenge, making it vital for the entire squad to maintain focus.
Entry[]
To gain access to Moon Watcher Tower, players will need to obtain a Relic of Wonder: Weapon. One daily is obtainable from Lady Heidel at the northern end of the western half of Samsara Pond (inside a pagoda). Entry is done at Lady Heidel, and consumes a Relic of Wonder: Weapon.
Rewards[]
- 10 Blood Spirit Stone
- 6 Gold-Plated Iron
- 2 Ether Jade
- Profaned Wood (not guaranteed)
- Dull Zenith Skull Shard (not guaranteed)
- Abiu Seed
- Deer Fawn
To receive rewards, members will need to be in range when the quest target (which is the little thing that spawns after the boss dies) dies.
Squad Composition[]
The ideal squad composition is considered to be:
- Tank: preferably barb to absorb damage and protect the squad
- Healer: A cleric and/or mystic, for buffs and to keep the squad alive
- Debuffers (blademaster, venomancer, seeker, etc.)
- Damage dealers (assassin, psychic, etc.)

Basam[]
Alcoholic Basam[]
Alcoholic Basam has APS protections and a time limit of 400 seconds per attempt; he is best tanked by a barb. He has the following skills:
- Bloodthirst Pond: slow charging red area, will deal lethal damage.
- Hospitality: Basam will spawn wines at 360 seconds (75 wines), 240 seconds (100 wines) and 120 seconds (125 wines) for players to gather within 25 seconds. Gather by running over as many as possible, for Basam will drink the leftover wines and deal great AoE damage and lethal damage to the tank.
Royal Bladesman: Basam[]
Royal Bladesman: Basam has APS protections.
Dragon statues to the left and right of the boss will shoot beams to interrupt players; a blue beam will freeze for 3 seconnds, the red beam will deal large amounts of fire DOT damage.
Basam has the following skills:
- Lethal Toast: The boss will pass the player with most aggro 10 stacks of wine; there are several methods to deal with these stacks; when any player has more than 2 stacks at the end of the 60 seconds timer, they will take lethal damage if not in faith.
- Wines can be "tanked" with faith (bm's Vajra, barb's Cornered Beast, wizard's Essential Sutra or cleric's Pious Blessing).
- Wines can be divided between all players around.
- Wines can be passed to a player who at the end of the timer, is out of Basam's AoE range (at the respawn point after death for example).
- Basam will regularly cast red cones into the direction of the tank, which deal a lot of damage to anyone but barbarians, though can be tanked by anyone.
- Wind Smash: a red circle charging up around Basam, will deal lethal damage to anyone inside of it.
- Peerless Sword Fall: Basam randomly selects 4 people and casts a blue, 5 meter circle around them, anyone standing inside this circle will be killed.
- Illusionary Realm of Storm: at 65% HP and 35% HP, players will be teleported to the beginning of the battle hall, the goal is to kill 1 of the gatekeepers, per gate, as fast as possible to break through the barrier, do this twice to reach the big blue orb, killing the orb will interrupt Basam's channeling and prevent a squad wipe. Being too slow will cause the Martyr Spirits and Alcohol Mist to catch up and kill all players. Watch out for Soulseeker Swords, they will randomly chase a player and deal large amounts of damage when coming too close.
Swordmaster·Mo Rayin[]
Swordmaster·Mo Rayin spawns in the center of the platform in the image in the infobox, having several stages and things to keep track of:
- The boss takes reduced ranged damage; this may be mitigated by staying as close as possible to the boss.
- Start with as much damage as possible, but after a few seconds, Martyr Spirits will appear by the edges of the arena, and the entire squad needs to walk to the edges and take them down within 1 minute. Please note the classes are randomly placed, and you do more damage to the martyr that's your OWN race (human = bm/wiz, tideborn = sin/psychic, etc.) If you fail to defeat the martyr spirits within 1 minute, Mo Rayin will heal by a large amount.
- When boss yells "barrier of time", there is a red line on the floor that makes a wall. Stand on that side while fighting the boss, because in a few seconds, the boss will yell "Blade Avalanche" where he does a spinning aoe that will knock everyone back. If you're not on the same side of the "barrier" or out of range, the impact will send you flying off the arena and you'll be unable to resurrect until Mo Rayin has died or reset.
- When Mo Rayin is at ~32m HP, he will stop casting Blade Avalanche and will start running away. You have 10 seconds to chase and hit the boss at melee range or else the boss will heal. Afterwards he'll do a rectangle attack that will knock out squad members who are inside. Repeat until boss has died.
Twilight Champion: Baili Feron[]
Twilight Champion: Baili Feron is inside an area with a golden bell on the floor which is treated as a "hot potato". The squad will need to discuss on who to pass the bell to after 4-5 stacks, for if the person dies before passing the bell to another member, a squad wipe will occur. If the person passes to someone who previously had possession of the bell, a squad wipe will occur.
It's recommended to have a barb/seeker/bm start with the bell, as they can hold it for longer with cornered beast/faith, which renders them immune from the bell's DoT stacks. It's also recommended to start on the edge of the circle, and stay grouped! Aggro skills are useless, as the boss will only hit the one with the bell.
Baili Feron is a nuke, except it'll periodically drop circles like Lethal Vengeance from Twilight Temple Revisited Part 1. Have the first member (preferably barb) hold the bell, until 5 stacks, and at 5 stacks, use sanguine glyph cornered beast (faith) and hold the bell until faith is about to time out (~5 seconds), while nuking Baili Feron before passing it to the second person. The second person also holds the bell for 4-5 stacks and then passes to the third. Repeat this process until the boss is dead.
