Glyph Slots are used to embed Glyphs to certain skills. There are a total of 12 Glyph slots, with all of them initially locked. All Glyph slots must be unlocked by completing trials to obtain stones for each slot. The first slot, Mercy, can be unlocked at Reawakening II, level 100, and gaining access to the Western Steppes. The next two slots, Honor and Courage, can be unlocked once the player reaches Chaotic Soul Cultivation. The next three slots, Modesty, Loyalty, and Sincerity, can be unlocked once the player reaches Celestial Saint Cultivation.

It was previously possible to unlock the first glyph slot, Mercy, at level 1 in the Celestial Vale. This is no longer possible as of the Wings of Rebirth expansion.

Overview[ | ]

The trials or quests to unlock Glyph slots can be found at Glyph Master NPCs. All 6 of the NPCs can be found outside of City Hall in Neverfall in the Western Steppes. Completing each trial will award the player with a stone.

Once the player has a stone to unlock a Glyph slot, they can right-click it in their inventory to unlock the slot permanently. If the player somehow misplaces their stone they can purchase another one from the respective Glyph Master for 10 million silver coins. If the player accidentally buys a stone they can try to send a Support Ticket to Customer Support to fix the issue, however it is the player's responsibility to check carefully when taking quests so they may not be able to reverse the purchase.

When slots are unlocked, the player can take advantage of the Glyph Bonus if they use all Glyph slots for their skills. All slots must be filled with Glyphs and skills. The Glyph Bonus they receive depends on which skills they choose to embed Glyphs in, and determines the amount of damage increased or reduced against other players. The Glyph Bonus does not affect monsters in PvE.
