Mystic Summons are a feature exclusive to Mystics that function similarly to the Venomancer's battle pets. There are a total of five different summons available in the form of skills: Devil Chihyu, Storm Mistress, Salvation, Cragglord, and Voidbringer. Mystics can only have one of these summons out at a time, but can still use Plants while having a summon out. All summons can only be out for a limited amount of time, but the time duration can be increased by leveling the Transference passive skill. If a summon dies, the Mystic will not have to revive it and can simply summon it again once its summoning skill is off of cooldown.

Summons' stats are mostly calculated based on three factors: The Mystic's level, the summons' level which is based off upgrading them from your skill list, and the Mystic's own stats including stats gained from equipment. Triple Spark, Cleric buffs, Blademaster buffs, and Barbarian buffs will not enhance the summons' stats. The only thing that will enhance your summons' stats are Seeker attack/defense level buffs, and Inkdragon's Blood.

Previously, Your first four summons could only be learned through skill books acquired from quests. However, these this is no longer required. The final summon, Voidbringer, still requires a skill book to learn which can be obtained through Homestead quests.

There are a few skills that mystics can learn to benefit or utilize their summons. Mystics will not be able to use the skill Energy Leech on their Cragglord summon.

Types of Summons[ | ]

Devil Chihyu[ | ]

Devil Chihyu Summon

The Devil Chihyu.

Mystics can learn the skill to summon a Devil Chihyu upon reaching level 7 and speaking to Mystic Priest Ryao in Hero's Terrace (320, 520). You can upgrade the Devil Chihyu to level 10 once you reach level 52.

The Devil Chihyu is the first summon a mystic will learn. It aids mystics in dealing single target physical damage and comes equipped with the skills "Folding Strike" to deal physical damage and "Skull Slap" to stun. Once upgraded to Sage or Demon, the Devil Chihyu will gain the "Boost" skill which grants them a buff to deal an additional 30% physical attack. Using Energy Leech with Devil Chihyu increases your physical defense and critical rate for 20 seconds.

Lore[ | ]

Devil Chihyus are creatures created from Mystic Priest Ryao's power to help young mystics learn more about summons and to eventually learn to depend on themselves in the future.

Devil Chihyu Skills and AI[ | ]

Summons are now controlled through AI as of June 2020. Summons will now use their skills in a specific order, this can change depending on the enemy target's status effects.

PLEASE NOTE that you will put your summons' skills on cooldown if you are targeting an ally upon summoning. This is due to the AI's function to help assist attack.

Devil Chihyu will prioritize using Skull Slap, Folding Strike, and then Boost.

Devil Chihyu will avoid using Skull Slap if the target is immune to stuns or during an immunity.

Storm Mistress[ | ]

The Storm Mistress.

Mystics can learn the skill to summon a Storm Mistress upon reaching level 23 and speaking to Ritualis Septus in Tellus City (123,456) after they reach the Aware of Principle cultivation. You can upgrade the Storm Mistress to level 10 once you reach level 68.

The Storm Mistress is the second summon a mystic will learn. She aids mystics in dealing extra elemental damage through the use of metal skills for both single-target and multi-target attacks. She comes with the skills "Luna Blade" for single target metal damage and "Hush" to deal AOE metal damage. Once upgraded to Sage or Demon, Storm Mistress will gain the "Moonblade" skill which grants them a silence for 3 seconds to single targets. Using Energy Leech with the Storm Mistress increases your magic defense and magic attack for 20 seconds.

Lore[ | ]

A story from Ritualist Septus tells a tale of when he was a young mystic, he had just entered a covenant with the thousand-year-old Mystic, Storm Mistress. He had passed all of her trials and was well on his way to greatness. However, in one of his final battles, a ring that signified the connection between the two, the Thunder Stone Ring, shattered into five pieces and were scattered across the Decaying Woods. Since then, Ritualist Septus has been kept back from completing his training, as Storm Mistress saw his failure as an unforgivable mistake. To this day, he wonders if someone found all the pieces of his ring and brought it to her, what would she say then?

Salvation[ | ]

Salvation.

Mystics can learn the skill to summon Salvation upon reaching level 33 and speaking to Beckenast the First Mage in Tellus City (357, 241), after they reach the Aware of Discord cultivation. You can upgrade the skill to level 10 once you reach level 78.

Salvation is the third summon a mystic will learn. She provides mystics extra support through the use of her shields to absorb damage for you and your allies. She does not use any offensive skills at all, and is solely used for support. She comes with the skills "Aegis Sphere" which provides a single target shield and "Martydom" which is an AOE heal for you and your allies. Once upgraded to Sage or Demon, Salvation will learn the "Warp Shield" skill which grants an AOE shield for you and your allies. Using Energy Leech with Salvation grants you a shield and gives a minor version of the Falling Petals skill. This lasts for 30 seconds or until significant enough damage is dealt to the Mystic.

Old Elven legends tell a tale of one of their Elven Goddess, named Azure, Goddess of life and daughter of Pan Gu, being sealed in a Runestone Plinth after protecting her people from a terrible disaster.

Beckenast the First Mage hopes that you can revive the Elven Goddess spirit to help in the coming battles against the Wraiths.

Salvation Skills and AI[ | ]

Summons are now controlled through AI as of June 2020. Summons will now use their skills in a specific order.

There are no restrictions on targetting an ally or enemy when summoning Salvation due to her AI's function to help shield and heal you and nearby allies.

Salvation's priority skills are changed to now be: Warp Shield, Martyrdom, and then Aegis Sphere. Salvation will only use Aegis Sphere when the Mystic starts to take damage.

Salvation's only restriction is if you need to relocate, she will pause her channeling to follow you to the new location before resuming.

Cragglord[ | ]

Cragglord Summon

Cragglord.

Mystics can learn the skill to summon the Cragglord upon reaching level 59 and speaking to Beckenast the First Mage in Tellus City (357, 241) after they reach the Transcendent cultivation. You then must then go inside of the Valley of Disaster and summon the Cragglord from the Cairn of Fire (404, 548) and bring him to your control. You can upgrade the skill to level 10 once you reach level 86.

The Cragglord is the fourth summon a mystic will learn. It has higher stats than the first three summons listed above and allows Mystics to deal a significant amount of Fire damage to all nearby enemies at the cost of using 2 sparks and only lasts for 20 to 23 seconds. Cragglord only comes with two skills, "Eruption" which deals fire damage in a small 5 meter AOE and "Cometfall" which deals fire damage in a 10 meter AOE. Cragglord does not obtain a third skill upon being upgraded to Sage or Demon. Cragglord does not provide any additional stats upon using Energy Leech UNTIL you upgrade to ɸCragglord or ΩCragglord.

Lore[ | ]

Though once mortal, Cragglord is a fierce flame god who brought disaster to the Earthguards. Many have fallen victim and perished to his strength while trying to gain his favor. The strongest Earthguard forces battled him once, but only managed to seal him away at the cost of many lives. Cragglord has been locked inside a cairn in the Valley of Disaster (404, 548) for nearly a thousand years. It is now up to you to release him and bring him under your control. You must find the sword known as "Red Lotus" in the Restless Remnants, which has the power to break the seal of the Cairn of Fire, and release the Cragglord. Then you must defeat him and bring him to your control.

Cragglord Skills and AI[ | ]

Summons are now controlled through AI as of June 2020. Summons will now use their skills in a specific order, this can change depending on the enemy target's status effects.

PLEASE NOTE that you will put your summons' skills on cooldown if you are targeting an ally upon summoning. This is due to the AI's function to help assist attack.

Cragglord will prioritize using Cometfall and then Eruption.

Cragglord will use his skills despite the player's status effects. This includes player's being immune to stun, silence, or in immunity.

Voidbringer[ | ]

Voidbringer.

The Voidbringer is the fifth and final summon a mystic will learn, and is the ultimate ability specific to the mystic class. It is the most effective summon with the highest stats out of all of the other summons, but only lasts for 15 seconds (level 1) to 30 seconds (level 2). Voidbringer has a unique passive where he can absorb any damage directly dealt to the mystic and redirect it to himself instead. Voidbringer comes with three skills. "Traveler's Bash" which deals great physical damage, "Traveler's Dance" which deals AOE physical damage. Once players obtain the second cast Accoladed Weapon their Voidbringer will level up to level 3 and learn "Pit of Nothingness" which is an aggro skill. Upon the Voidbringer's death, it will explode, dealing a significant amount of Wood damage to all nearby enemies. Using Energy Leech with your Voidbringer will increase your magic attack, physical and magic defenses, and critical hit rate for 20 seconds.

How to get a Voidbringer[ | ]

Mystics can begin their quest to obtain their Voidbringer upon reaching level 100 and achieving the Aware of Vacuity Cultivation. Mystics must have the prerequisite of unlocking their Homestead at level 70 and complete collection quests to obtain Elysian Seals. You can then exchange the Elysian Seals with Vyn Ren, the Trainer in Archosaur: West City (522, 657) for the Voidbringer skill book.

To get Elysian Seals, enter your Homestead, click on the Q button in the top left of the screen to open the Homestead quest window, and pick up a Collection quest from the Collection tab. These Collection quests will require the player to craft certain Homestead decorations. Once you have the required decorations, open the Homestead quest window again, go to the Complete tab, click on the quest, and then click the "Completing quests" button to receive your rewards which will include an Elysian Seals.

Voidbringer Skills and AI[ | ]

When a player obtains their second cast Accoladed Weapon, this will level your Voidbringer to level 3 and also grants their Voidbringer the Pit of Nothingness skill. It is currently unknown with Voidbringer level 3 what the skill priorities are.

There is only a basic summoning skill, which has only 2 levels. These skills can be learned by acquiring Elysian Seals from your Homestead.

In order to summon the ∆Voidbringer you must have Subsiding Dirt, which can be acquired from Homestead collection quests.

Summon a Voidbringer to protect you. The Voidbringer will take 100% of damage dealt to you and redirect it to himself instead. The Voidbringer explodes when it dies, hitting all enemies within 10 meters and dealing 300% of your base magic attack as Wood damage, for a maximum of 3 times your magic attack. You can use Energy Leech to draw power from the Voidbringer to increase your Magic attack by 200%, your Physical and Magic Defenses by 100%, and your Critical Hit rate by 30% for 20 seconds.

The Voidbringer lasts for 20 seconds.
Voidbringer will also absorb any crowd control effect that deals damage.
It does not explode if the Mystic uses Energy Leech to unsummon it or if it meets the end of its time duration.


Level 3: The Voidbringer comprehends the mystery of the void. Increases all attrubutes by 3 times and gains the skill: Pit of Nothingness. When summoned and absorbed by Energy Leech, the Mystic will gain a buff increasing Magic Attack by 400%, Physical and Magic Defense by 200%, and Critical Hit rate by 30%. Lasts for 30 seconds.

Costs 1 Subsiding Dirt.
