A Fashion Weapon, or Weapon Fashion, is a cosmetic skin for your weapon with its only purpose being aesthetic. They are unique in that they grant the player a special animation while equipped that either plays at random, or like other actions can be used in the Action window, accessed by pressing the E key. All fashion weapons can be equipped at level 1 or higher, meaning that characters of all levels can wear them.
Like fashion, they have their own gear slot and can be stored in the wardrobe. Fashion weapons are also gender exclusive, being identified by either a male (♂) or female (♀) symbol following the name of the item, though being identical in appearance. They cannot be dyed like regular fashion. They are also only shown when you have your character appearance set to Fashion mode; it will not be displayed in the Armor view. This can be toggled by opening your inventory with the B key and clicking on the armor/fashion icon in the top-left corner of the window.
Initially fashion weapons from the Boutique were time-limited and only lasted 30 days, though many were changed to become permanent fashion weapons in exchange for them costing more gold at the request of the community. Event and quest fashion weapons are time-limited.
Fashion weapons are most commonly available in the Boutique, found in the "Fashion" section under "Weapons" in the fashion shop window, usually in the "New" tab. On occasion they may be under the "Sale" tab. Most fashion weapons are only added for a limited time when on sale. They are currently not sold in the Event Boutique.
Fashion weapons are also obtainable through certain events, the Unique Rewards system, or through event locations such as Adventure Kingdom. Fashion weapons obtained this way will only last for a limited time.
Types of Fashion Weapons
There are multiple different types of fashion weapons. They can only be worn by certain classes, and also can only be worn with certain weapon types. For example, you cannot equip a fist fashion weapon if you are wielding a sword.
