Its pet eggs can be combined along with the Shaodu Cub's pet eggs to create a Baby Bear, an all-class pet.

Usually by default the Armored Bear will spawn on the hill west of The Village of Naught, where it will unsuccessfully attempt to run around. If it is not there or its aggro is reset, it can be found wandering around The Village of Naught and along the beach north of it.
